Pension Plus - For members of the Michigan Public School Employees Retirement SystemImage of Teacher with students

Welcome

Your Pension Plus retirement plan is one of the most valuable benefits your employer provides to you – it offers two types of retirement plans in one. The Pension Component of your plan guarantees you a lifetime pension once you meet age and service requirements. The Savings Component of your plan enrolls you in a tax-deferred investment account that can help you enhance your savings for retirement.

The State of Michigan’s Office of Retirement Services (ORS) administers the Pension Plus retirement plan and partners with ING to bring you the Savings Component. The Contact Us page provides additional information about who to contact with your Pension Plus questions and issues.

All Michigan public school employees who first work on or after July 1, 2010, are enrolled in the Pension Plus retirement plan.
